Portraits

This past weekend, I finished Larry Goddard's portrait. Larry and I were in Leadership Tyler together when I first moved to Tyler, and he has been a great friend ever since! He celebrates each decade with a portrait, and I am excited to be year 50!!! He wanted something fun and crazy, so I gave him fun and crazy! The size is 18x24 and cost (for this size) is $450.00. Email me if you are interested.

Hotel Nylo Las Colinas Artist Awards Luncheon

Last Tuesday Hotel NYLO hosted a luncheon for the artists and the hotel designers. I delivered "Longhorn Love" and it was neat to meet the other contributors and see their work. Hotel NYLO did a great job! I am excited for the hotel to open in July! Here are some photos...

Here is the article that ran with the luncheon...

Art for a Cause

These are some of the paintings I have recently donated to silent auctions for local nonprofit organizations to help benefit their cause. I think it is a great way for artists to give back to their community and get a little bit of publicity in return.Game, Set, Match: Hope Open Tennis Tournament benefiting Living Alternatives in Tyler, Texas

Exciting News!

Last fall I entered an art competition for Hotel Nylo. Their new hotel is going to be in Las Colinas, Texas. I just heard last night that I won first place! I am so excited! My painting will either hang in the lobby as an original, or they might make glycie prints of my painting for the guest rooms. Either way I am super excited! I get a fancy grand prize, lots of publicity through their PR dept, and there is supposed to be a luncheon in July to meet the designers. I am so excited!
